Proceedings

It is intended to publish offered papers from the conference in a special edition of Marine Ornithology. Dr Ross Wanless will be the guest editor.

All received papers will undergo a standard review process and submission will not mean automatic acceptance.  Papers for publication must be prepared in journal style and layout, following the “Instructions to Authors” on the journal’s web site (www.marineornithology.org).  Electronic submission is required  and all papers must be received by Ross Wanless by 30 September 2008.  There will be no formal page limits set on submitted papers, but conciseness in writing is required.  Delegates who plan to offer a paper for the proceedings should take the opportunity to discuss their plans with the editor at the conference.

All delegates to the conference will receive a copy of the Proceedings when printed as part of their conference fee.

IAPC4 is supported by CORE Initiatives, the Animal Demography Unit, University of Cape Town, the Global Seabird Programme of BirdLife International, Irvin and Johnson, Marine and Coastal Management division of the South African Department of Environmental Affairs and Tourism and WWF South Africa.
